How to replace the 12V battery in a Renault Kangoo Electric van (ZE22 & ZE33 models)

This video shows you how to replace the 12V auxiliary battery in a Renault Kangoo ZE electric van. This is applicable to both the 2011-2016 Renault Kangoo ZE22 with the 22kWh battery pack and the 2017-2022 Renault Kangoo ZE33 with the 33kWh battery pack.
The factory battery is Renault/Nissan part no. 244102059R and made by Varta. Its 70Ah 720A (EN). Size is approx 280mm (w) x 175mm (d) x 190mm (h). In the UK, some of the commonly available battery models that would be a suitable replacement are:

Bosch S3008 (70Ah, 640A)
Exide EB712 096SE (71Ah, 67A)
Exide EA722 096TE (72Ah, 720A)
Lucas LP096 (70Ah, 640A)
Lucas LS096 (78Ah, 780A)
Yuasa YXB1096 (70Ah, 640A)
Yuasa YBX3096 (76Ah, 650A)
Yuasa YBX5096 (80Ah, 740A)
Varta E13 (70Ah, 640A)
Varta E44 (77Ah, 780A)

The Ah figure is effectively the storage capacity of the battery. The higher the Ah, the longer it will last when the vehicle is turned off. This is particularly useful for vehicles that aren't used much. Please check the dimensions before purchasing and check that these are suitable for your Kangoo battery tray.
