When sans become Hungry in Undertale. When the core malfunction, sans tried to help and work on it but Alphys suggested to use sans eye in order to power the core. Undying then attacks sans for calling him useless, she then removed his eye from his head. This resulted in a giant hole in the side of Sans' skull. Sans was no longer the joyful skeleton he once was. Sans has not eaten anything for 7 years, which then led to him losing his kindness, along with his sanity.
