The Suzuki Fronx is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) produced by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki in India since 2023. It is based on the Baleno hatchback, and positioned below the Brezza. The brand-new Maruti Suzuki Fronx features a modern design aesthetic that the manufacturer is using to lure young buyers in India, and it will rival some of the top compact SUVs when it is launched for the Indian market. Following the launch, there will be two petrol engine options for the Fronx compact SUV. The 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine produces 113Nm of torque at 4,400rpm and 89bhp at 6,000rpm. Both a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT are offered for this engine. The 1.0-litre K-Series turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, makes 147.6Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,500rpm and 99bhp at 5,500rpm. Both a six-speed automatic and a five-speed manual transmission are offered for the turbo engine.
