Meet Jilt Jansma, trombone teacher at ArtEZ for jazz & pop. What makes him unique is that he also teaches classical music and integrates this into his jazz and pop lessons. In Arnhem, he encourages cross-overs between art disciplines, resulting in unique creations. For auditions, he looks for personality and teachability, alongside musical ability, to prepare students well for diverse performing and educational careers.
