French producer, DJ and live act Wallis is the latest to join our Electronic Beats Tech Talk series, known for her ability to break the boundaries of Techno music and offer something uniquely hers. These releases in recent years for the likes of Ellen Allien’s BPitch Control, Kobosil’s R-Label and her own Jell imprint have led to appearances at many acclaimed clubs and festivals across the globe.

We visited Wallis’s home studio to discover just how she manages to create these distinctive, unpredictable and energetic productions. Her playful approach to making music utilises a vast array of hardware, ranging from unique synths, a modular set up and sequencers, through to numerous processing units and a mixing desk.
