So now that you've learned that such things as "the void" and "the maddening secrets of the cosmos" aren't all that maddening, but actually quite delightful and fluffy, it makes them all the more inviting!
But oh! There lies the trap. And how clever it is! You're going to see your own subconscious reflected back at you, and it is not the fault of the universe. That is all you, buddy!
You might even go so far as doubting what you see: The truths of the universe are just so wonderful that you might not wanna believe it.
You see, the universe is perfect, the human mind is not. Human minds are all connected to some imperfect universe, where logic and gravity and time don't really apply anymore. Now THAT is maddening!
So do go bravely into that night, but go slowly... there's a reason these things take as long as they do, and its not for a lack of eagerness by the participants.
It's tiring. It's downright exhausting. Interdimensional beings spend a lot of time sleeping. Because that's better than going insane.
