Apparently Discord is vulnerable and Discord is blocking IPs and you probably heard about it from a freaked out Discord user. But trusting Discord users and @everyone pings in Discord servers is a stupid idea and this is a prime example.

So how is Discord vulnerable? Was Discord even vulnerable in the first place? Is there some sort of hack or scam I need to look out for? And finally, how and why is Discord blocking IPs?
