
This was a big uni project of mine from this year - designing the visual identity for this immersive exhibition and video and communicating all this information in a vibrant, dynamic and engaging way . I used a motion visualisation clip I made in Touchdesigner of my friend Jeb skating the Fremantle Woolstores ledge last year as a starting point for the project, incorporating the animation through the video and exhibition as a kind of visual motif to display skateboarding’s regenerative effect. All the graphic elements of the exhibition I made are displayed at the end of the video (3:13) - the whole visual identity and infographics mocked up at MACBA as well as condensed into an exhibition guidebook in pamphlet form. I dug through loads of interesting research in the making of this, from architectural graphics and skate magazines to academic papers and was probably one of my favourite uni projects I’ve been able to make 📦 :]
