Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin obliterated Donald Trump during a recent House session. Raskin blasted the President for suing CBS News for allegedly editing their 60 Minutes interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris, but then Raskin did something remarkable – he suggested that Democrats could turn the tables and copy Trump by using the same formula to sue Fox News and possibly even other conservative outlets. He may have been joking, but that’s not a bad idea. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

During a recent hearing in the House Judiciary Committee, democratic representative Jamie Raskin, decided to take his time to go after Donald Trump for his billions of dollars in litigation against CBS News. Now, sorry, I wanna start that over. Anyway. 3, 2, 1. During a recent hearing at the House Judiciary Committee, democratic representative Jamie Raskin decided to use his speaking time. Two, speak out against the fact that Donald Trump is suing CBS news for $20 billion, because Trump claims they deceptively edited their 60 minutes interview with then Vice President Kamala Harris. Raskin not only thinks that this is very stupid, but he actually posed jokingly, but eh, there's a little bit of truth to it. A countermeasure that the Democrats could take that I actually suggested months ago when Trump first filed his lawsuit. Here, is what Raskin had to say. Trump and his FCC are using their powers to investigate Sue and threaten news groups that dare to criticize the administration.

Trump is suing CBS for 20 billion in damages because check this out. He believes in interview with Kamala Harris produced two favorable an impression of her. So does that mean I can sue Fox News? Because I think their interviews with Trump produced two favorable, an impression of him. I mean, this is lunacy. And now exploiting his asserted unitary executive powers. Trump is unleashing his sycophant, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, on every news group whose stories he doesn't approve of actually threatening to pull the government broadcast licenses for A-B-C-C-B-S-N-B-C-P-B-S and NPR. Nothing of a hostile nature, of course, is taking place against Fox News, which is now the defacto state approved media, uh, enjoys immunity from the repression visited on its liberal competitors. What is this? North Korea. Now here's the thing. Trump's lawsuit against CBS should be dead in the water. It should have already been dismissed. But CBS is considering, or at least parent company Paramount, is considering settling with him like a BC did, like Twitter, did like Facebook did, like all of these other media outlets bowing down to Donald Trump have done, they're considering it. Even though there is no case, there is no damages for Donald Trump to prove in court settling would be very, very dumb. But there's also what Raskin suggested, which again, I suggested

Long ago. If you're gonna do that, then we can do the same thing, because in Trump's lawsuit, he is alleging election interference because they deceptively edited a video allegedly to make Harris look better. Well, we know for a fact that Fox News did that multiple times this past year alone. They edited town hall questions, you know, before they aired, taking out where people said, I'm a Trump supporter, I voted for Trump twice already. I love Trump. They took all that out to make it seem like these people were independent voters in an effort to convince the audience that these were just swing voters who have no, that's deceptive. There's also the report that Donald Trump was given the town hall questions in advance to a different town hall, not even that particular one. They've also edited other interviews that Trump has done on the network. We know that those are facts.
