I dreamt I was out in St Leonards with a new girlfriend, her child and her nan. The grandmother wanted to get some sewing materials so I said I though there was a haberdashery on West Hill Road. We walked there the Tudor Avenue / Cavendish Avenue / Essenden Road way. There wasn't a haberdashery but there was a second hand emporium so we went in there. I found an older, signed and artistically embellished Viv Albertine paperback, picked up a greetings card and a can of beer and sat down while the others browsed. When they were ready, they joined me, along with a friend of my girlfriend who was talking to her about a mutual ex of ours. When it came to pay for my goods, I noticed there were a few boxes of CDs I hadn't looked at. The radio had BBC 6Music on and the DJ was being a bit smug. Within the dream, this song was a session track by a Dave Callahan band, maybe Wolfhounds.
