At Superbooth 2025, Teenage Engineering introduced a new black colorway for several devices in its Field System, creating a more unified look across its portable production tools. The updated lineup includes black editions of the TP-7 field recorder, TX-6 mixer, and CM-15 condenser microphone. The OP–XY sequencer, which was already available in black, remains unchanged, while the OP–1 Field synthesizer, also part of the ecosystem, retains its original silver finish.

The Field System is designed for seamless integration and mobility, offering a modular setup for musicians and producers who need flexibility on the move. All devices are battery-powered and use USB-C connectivity, allowing them to function both independently and together. The new black editions maintain the same technical specifications as their predecessors, now with a consistent visual identity across most of the range.
