Hello everything! Here we come again with 16 unheard sydes from the unreleased sixties!
Let’s dig out the very few we can find about these ones!

A1- The Next Of Kin/Kinn was a band from Youngstown, OH, active from 1965 to 1967. They issued one great unknown 45 on United Audio, featuring the amazing “A Lovely Song”. The Pied Pipers’ bassist Pete Pompura helped the band to wrote the song plus the one featured here, by far their wildest, but remained unreleased, considered “too wild” by the label, and replaced by a Buffalo Springfield cover. Fortunately, the WAM acetate survived!
- WAM Recording Studio acetate (1967)

A2- The Theaves was a band from Glen Burnie, MD, starring Gary Glaser, who wrote both sides. The man is a lawyer now and still plays from time to time. The songs were arranged by Lee Brill.
- No Recording Co. acetate (1966)

A3- The Jaguars is a mystery band. They seem to be only two, and cut one acetate in 1967.
- Audiodisc Recording acetate (Aug 1967)

A4- See A2.

A5- The Todes was a band from Provo, UT. They released one single on Emanon records in 1966. Two unreleased tracks, including this one, were dug up by 60sGarageBands, but as the site seems to have been taken down, I don’t know what the other song is.
- Acetate? Tape? (date unknown)

A6- The Crabs is a mystery band, apparently from Royal Oak, MI.
- Audiodisc acetate (Jun 1967)

A7- The Souls is a mystery band, maybe from Fort Worth, TX.
- Sound City Recording Studio acetate (date unknown)

A8- The Outer Limits was a band from Providence, RI, named in tribute to the famous TV series. They cut two acetate, this one in 1965, the other in 1967. They were active until 1970 but they never released anything.
- New England Recording Co. acetate (1965)

B1- Nothing is known about the Henchmen. In view of the amount of garage bands using that name, I can’t be sure if this acetate is one of the known bands, or of another undiscovered one. London records was the intended label.
- Bell Sound Studios Inc. acetate (Jan, 24 1967)

B2- Our Mothers Children was a band from Ann Arbor, MI. They cut an acetate, featuring a wild cover of Shadows Of Knight’s “I’ll Make You Sorry”, and an original (the song featured here.) It was never released. The band was managed by Jeep Holland, founder of A-Square Records.
- Falcon Studios acetate (1967)

B3- The Ugly Americans is a mystery band. They cut one acetate at a Hollywood, CA studio. The publisher for the track was Skol Music.
- Western Recorders acetate (date unknown)

B4- See A8. This acetate was cut in 1967. Both acetates had a surf instrumental titled “Safari” on the flip side.
- No label acetate (1967)

B5- The artist for this acetate was not written on it, so it remains unknown. It was cut at a New York City studio.
- MRC Music Inc. acetate (date unknown)

B6- The Royal Rogues is a band formed by Tim Delaney and Glen Tompkins, who would later form the band The Sound Of Time, released on English Records. This was recorded at Texas Sound Studios in San Antonio, TX. The other side is titled “Till I Come Home To You”.
- Southern Recording, a division of Texas Sound Studios acetate (date unknown)

B7- The Inside Out is a mystery band. The members are listed on the sleeve but it’s hard to read. The ones I understood with certainty are: lead guitar: Bobby Dolan; Bass: Frank Hapaving. The others I can’t be sure.
- Associated Recording Studios acetate (date unknown)

B8- The name of the band is not written on the acetate. This A-Side seems to be an original by the band. The other side is a cover of the Coasters’ “Poison Ivy”. But they're wild!
- No Recording Co. acetate (date unknown)

Fine! Now that all these phantoms have been presented, let the acetate scratch! I hope you enjoyed this volume and see you with the upload of Vol. 13 (woop bad luck!)
