Seed viability refers to the longevity of a seed. How long will seeds germinate? This depends on the type of plant. You can search seed viability charts to see the typical duration but this can vary depending on seed storage conditions!

Here's a quick and easy way to test the viability of your seeds before the gardening season gets started. There's nothing worse than wasting two weeks of your precious planting time to find that none the seeds were viable.

ABOUT US: We are Alex and Elaina, a couple in our 20s who are currently living on the 3-acre farm in southern Pennsylvania where Alex grew up.
