This is a 12'' single record from the album Perfect Timing, released in 1986.Donna Allen was a cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League, in the late 70s, when she got her start performing with local bands in Tampa before launching a solo career.
Allen's debut album, Perfect Timing, included the up-tempo single 'Serious' and the follow up singles 'Satisfied', and 'Perfect Timing' (duet with Howard Johnson). Her second album was Heaven On Earth, released in 1988, had the cover of Maze & Frankie Beverly's song, 'Joy and Pain' that did well on the R&B charts. Allen also recorded the song, 'Real', that is on the movie soundtrack for 'The Specialist' in 1994, and released, 'He Is The Joy', a House Music track with a Gospel flavor in 1999. She is still performing at venues as of today.
