The finale of the 2025 Sky Bet Ebor Festival delivered with several thrilling finishes, highlighted by Ethical Diamond leading home a big-race 1-2-3 with victory in the £500,000 Ebor Handicap for trainer Willie Mullins and jockey William Buick, who signed off his week on the Knavesmire with a fantastic six winners.The Sky Bet City Of York Stakes, the newest Group One race in Britain after many years of work and planning by York racecourse, also served up a thrilling spectacle as the progressive 7f specialist Never So Brave struck in the colours of Derby-winning owner Saeed Suhail fore trainer Andrew Balding and jockey Oisin Murphy.
