It's been a leisurely week with unrelenting rain. When even the chickens seek refuge midday, you know it's notable. Philippe has taken on a task close to my heart—installing the cooking stove into the worktop. This promises to be a back-saver! Yay!Unfortunately, the rain and a partially damaged barn led to a minor mishap with a small section of the wall collapsing. But, as they say, after the rain comes sunshine, and it brought us our first vivid double rainbow!
