Learning how to hear the metronome like this is something you wont use very much in real life, so why should we do it? Well it turns out that if you can train yourself to feel the metronome on the smallest part of the beat (the e or ah) then feeling normal downbeats and upbeats will be even stronger and easier. Lucky for you, this video demonstrates that feeling the metronome click as the e or ah is actually pretty simple.
