Boomerang FM was a pirate radio station that operated in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1994. It was known for playing a mix of music and providing a platform for local DJs and presenters to showcase their talent. Pirate radio stations were illegal and operated outside the jurisdiction of the government, which led to a constant battle between the authorities and the station operators. Despite the legal challenges, Boomerang FM remained popular among the local community and continued to broadcast until it was eventually shut down.
