Pacific Palisades resident Patricia Cosentino joined Sky News to discuss her experience evacuating her home after wildfires swept the coastal neighbourhood in Los Angeles.

She said, "I left everything - I assumed we'd be back the same night that we left."

Asked what the ordeal has been like for her and her family, she described the situation as "horrifying" and "traumatising".
