How would you like to light all of your worries on fire and send them all flying away never to be seen again? Well, that’s the idea behind the Yi Peng Festival in Thailand. Release the suffering of the year so you can start fresh and new. We decided to go to CAD's Yi Peng Festival, and in this video, we'll share with you the history of the festival, what to expect when you get there, and if it's really worth the rather steep price tag.

Yi Peng and Loy Krathong are celebrated together in Chiang Mai. Loy Krathong is where you take a floating banana leaf lantern and float it down the river. Both festivals make merit to the Buddha and allow the people to release the grudges and suffering of the previous year.
