Brian Jones formed his first band in early 1962. When Brian Knight and Geoff Bradford left in mid-1962, Brian replaced them with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Dick Taylor, who went on to form the Pretty Things.By early 1963 the classic lineup was in place. Their debut UK single just failed to make the Top-20 but it set them on the path to become one of the biggest rock'n'roll bands in the world.
By the end of the decade the band and Brian Jones were no longer in harmony and in June 1969 he was sacked fro the group he formed.
Sadly, Brian died just a month later - at the age of 27.
