They have uPVC frames and are more expensive than your standard builder grade windows. Energy efficiency is important to us and worth the splurge. The u-factor on the operable windows is 0.15 and 0.14 on the fixed.

ABOUT US: We are Alex and Elaina, a couple in our 20s who are currently living on the 3-acre farm in southern Pennsylvania where Alex grew up.
