Storm Eowyn lashes Northern Ireland with strong gusts of wind, with First Minister Michelle O'Neill warning of a "genuine threat to life and property", and describing the region as currently being "in the eye of the storm". Gusts of 183 kilometres (114 miles) per hour were recorded early in the morning near the Galway coast of the Republic of Ireland.
