Liberal MP Garth Hamilton says Australia is being “left behind” as other countries meet with the United States while Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been unable to.“Let’s be really clear, the date they do meet will be decided by Mr Trump, not by Mr Albanese … Australia is losing out the longer this plays out,” Mr Hamilton told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“The longer this goes on, what we are seeing is other countries are getting in, negotiating with the US … that is happening now, we are being left behind.”
