When he’s not out touring the world with his group Seekae (Future Classic), George Nicholas has been making bass-driven club music in a duo called “Cliques” (alongside fellow Liveschool trainer Hamish Dixon) – who’ve just dropped a forward-leaning new record called “Chro” on Aquatic Lab Records.
George fired up the Ableton Live Set for Cliques’ Chro in front of a live audience at our recent INPUT: Drum Production Masterclass event to talk through some of the techniques, samples, processing and ideas behind the track - and we caught the whole thing on camera so we could share it with you in the video below.
