That’s when I decided to start filming my memories and saving them on a hard drive. Which I also lost…
In 2022, I decided to start an Instagram page to share my memories and save them online—somewhere I couldn’t lose them—while also inspiring others along the way.
And from there, everything kind of snowballed into me creating new memories, funded by the ones I’d already made. Ridiculous, if you think about it.
I still get nostalgic when I look back at my old videos. Back then, I had an entire continent ahead of me, and no idea what I was about to see or do. Good times.
If you’re thinking about starting a travel page on Instagram but you’re worried about not getting followers or views—forget about that. Start it as a way to preserve your memories. If you’re truly genuine, likeminded people will naturally be drawn to your content.
