Feel the energy of pure African and more specifically Kenyan Twist groove. DJ CJ is proud to present AFRICAN TWIST VOL 1, a captivating mix spotlighting the legendary DAUDI KABAKA and the irresistible African Twist sound. Inspired by the desire to time stamp memories through music I got to attend a Play organized by Ketebul Music at Alliance Francaise Nairobi and got to experience the history of African Twist told through a Play directed by Martin Kigondu (My Plug for Plays and Film) 🔥🔥🔥.
There were many outstanding moments and I was lucky to catch a few on my phone when I wasn't laughing too hard.... so in line with the play I will be releasing a series of African in addition to the very successful African Rhumba Series.
In this First Edition I have featured Daudi Kabaka's Music and excerpts of the play African Twist. I truly feel like this play needs to come back to a stage anywhere, it is too good to just be gone like that!!!
