For 2.5 weeks I visit Guatemala traveling from Antigua to Flores. Join my solo journey through incredible diversity - historic UNESCO cities, active volcanoes, pristine lakes, and world-famous Mayan archaeological sites.
I start my journey exploring the capital city of Antigua, then head to Xela challenging myself with a 3 day trek from Xela to Lake Atitlan.
I then spend a few days glamping and relaxing at Lake Atitlan and from there it’s on to Lanquin, visiting its most popular attraction Semuc Champey.
I end my travel in Flores where I check out the ancient Mayan ruin temple of Tikal.
Guatemala has been on my travel list for years with its fascinating blend of colonial history, volcanic landscapes, and ancient Mayan civilization. From Antigua’s cobblestone streets to Tikal’s towering jungle
They’ll be lots of adventures, random ups and downs, good times and memories to be had as I go “Solo Traveling Guatemala”.
