Ingredients:
1 cup dried chickpeas/garbanzo beans (soaked overnight or use canned chickpeas for a quicker version)
3 tablespoons oil
1 medium onions, finely chopped
3 medium-sized tomatoes, make paste
2 cloves garlic, grated
1-inch ginger, grated
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tea spoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
1/4 cup - Curd/yogurt
1 tsp - Dry methi leaves/kasuri methi
Salt to taste
2 - 3 cups water or as required
Chopped cilantro for garnish
Tempering
1 Tbsp OIl+ 1/2 tsp chilli powder
