Machiventa Melchizedek is a celestial being described in The Urantia Book as a divine emissary who incarnated on Earth around 1973 BCE to uphold spiritual truth during a period of planetary confusion and decline.

As a member of the Melchizedek Order of Sonship, he arrived without human parents, fully formed, and took on a temporary human-like body. His mission was to re-establish the concept of monotheism and prepare humanity for the later arrival of Christ Michael (Jesus of Nazareth).

He lived for 94 years in Salem (now Jerusalem), where he taught a simple but powerful doctrine: “Faith is counted as righteousness, and God is a loving Father.” One of his most famous followers was Abraham, with whom he forged a spiritual covenant.

Though only briefly mentioned in the Bible—notably in Genesis 14 and Hebrews 7—Machiventa is considered by esoteric traditions to be a bridge figure, linking divine cosmic orders and Earth-bound humanity. In some New Age interpretations, he continues to serve as an invisible planetary guide.
