Here’s a clever trick you’ve probably never seen.

Start by applying a special liquid to loosen the bolts, then use the right tool to remove the gear wheel. Trim one side down, smooth the edges, and give the parts a shine with a quick spray. Next, cut an LED strip and fix it around the clock mechanism. Place it in the center, line up the numbers perfectly—

And just like that, you’ve built a custom glowing wall clock that looks straight out of a design studio.
