Chain Reaction Innovations’ Cohort 4 - Margik
Conventional organic electronics production is costly and consumes significant energy, limiting production efficacy. Margik, led by Margaret Kocherga, Ph.D. created a powder, crystalline in nature, that can help preserve natural resources, create ultra-thin cell phones, reduce CO2 emissions, provide lighting and enable more sustainable consumer electronics. Margik’s materials can be used to produce organic electronics thereby reducing landfill space taken by traditional electronic waste and decrease the safety issues involved with recycling them.
