Kailyn Crabbe is a driving force in the Australian music scene, passionate about showcasing underground dance music communities. With roots in Boorloo/Perth and now based in Naarm, she's a pivotal member of the Crab Claw collective on the West Coast. She is also a co-founder of Club Jewelz—an important project committed to not only organising inclusive DJ workshops but also serving as a safety advocate, hosting captivating events and an Area 3000 radio show. Kailyn recently scored an iconic position as the Producer and Host of triple j's Mix Up show where she has hosted mixes from some of the biggest names in electronic music globally.

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field. This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.
