While told from the male perspective, this first-person narrative is still elliptical enough to be applicable to anyone to whom this situation is all too familiar.
The hard-driving music alternates between major and minor keys and illustrates the journey from gloomy to triumphant, with an instrumental break that sweeps from melancholy malaise to fiery determination.
