Special project with a fellow Patreon member. He sent me this nice wine crate to turn into a class A recording combo amp. Everything initially looked great, however after playing it a few issues surfaced. The solution was obvious, configure it as a true Fender champ. 4 Ohms! Fixed! I am very happy with the outcome. I believe the actual fix was installing the ClassicTone output transformer that was designed for guitar amp use. The original P-T31 transformer had no specs as to their intended application. The ClassicTone transformer secondary was 4 ohms, so the speaker change was also necessary.
