In this video I’ll be sharing a the most simple and traditional recipe of the favourite food items of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, which is Rabdi. Bhagat Singh is considered to be one of India’s bravest freedom fighters, who gave hjs life away with a smile to further the cause of India’s freedom struggle. Bhagat singh’s contribution to India’s freedom struggle is accepted by not one but many individuals throughout the country and that is why he is still considered to be a symbol of hope and courage among the youth. It is believed that during the time when Bhagat Singh was hiding in Agra, he used to drink hot milk with a layer of Rabdi on it everyday after the sunset, secretly from a friend’s shop in order to avoid getting caught by the British officials. Surprisingly this dish was very easy to make and it turned out to be extremely delicious. I had a great time preparing and trying out this recipe.
