The festival is closely associated with the end of the school year. A beautiful sailboat "RUSSIA" sails along the banks of the Neva to the sounds of classical music and fireworks. This ship decked out with scarlet sails much like in a fairy tale “The Scarlet Sails” by Alexander Grin. The fairy tale tells the story of a young girl named Assol. It has been predicted that she would meet a prince who will arrive on a ship with scarlet sails. A wealthy captain falls in love with Assol and learns of her story. He docks his ship with scarlet sails and makes Assol’s dreams come true.
We invite you to enjoy the performance from the superview webcam with a breathtaking panorama. Fire show lasts from 20 minutes, and general duration of the performance is around 40 minutes.

Sailing brig RUSSIA under scarlet sails passes through the divorced Palace Bridge. Illuminated by fireworks, it passes by the Palace Embankment and the Hermitage. Turning around at the Trinity Bridge, the sailboat again passes between the raised spans of the Palace, and then Blagoveshchensky bridges and hides in the dark.
