We kick start the second year of our Ferrovial Construction QUEST scholarship programme, in collaboration with the Institution of Civil Engineers, (ICE, ), which sees scholars join us on an annual basis for 40 consecutive days over the course of the next three years.

The programme is aimed at encouraging undergraduates to pursue careers in civil engineering, supporting them to achieve their ICE chartership, whilst gaining industry exposure and completing their degree. Background, gender and age should not be a barrier to working within the industry and this scheme is an inspirational and constructive support to the next generation of civil engineers. The QUEST programme is a partnership between the institution, industry and individuals and we are thrilled to be in our second year of the scheme.

This year we welcome 12 budding new scholars who join us this summer across the following projects; HS2 Main Works, Silvertown Tunnel, Thames Tideway Tunnel and Heathrow Q6. Their journey with us will be for the next three years plus, forming part of our early careers talent pool to build the pipeline of our annual graduate intake, once they complete their studies. Our carefully selected candidates also have the option to carry out their one year industrial/internship placements with us too and join the Ferrovial Graduate Programme post scholarship completion, all designed to further accelerate their career.
