Not here to argue about who started Hip Hop. There is enough audio and video to establish the truth of the matter. The Bronx gangs learned street dancing from Soul Train and Wattstax. Everything they claim is contradicted by recorded events, so I hope they can humble their selves and stop being delusional about the origin of Hip Hop elements. The break beat is by Sly and the Family Stone. This video proves that street dancing in the park was not unique to the Bronx. This is real Hip Hop history that is not concerned with any pseudo cult or New Age religion trying to claim our teenage activities as their personal inventions.
