They always come out to sell noodles at 7 am and come home at 5 pm. Even on weekends. It's very hard work but they had to do it. One man who is exceptionally good at selling things decided to help them out.
He came to the old man and told him that he only has $1 as a joke but the old man told him that he'll charge him $1 instead of $10 for the noodles. That made the young man want to help the old couple even more.
He told the old man to start cooking 30 meals and he'll buy them all if he fails to help them sell the noodles. The old couple was skeptical but he ended up exceeding expectation.
He asked passerby to play a game. It's very simple, press the stop button on his phone. If they could stop at the number 8, they get to get the noodles for free, he'll pay, if not, they will pay. Many people came to check it out.
The young man already sent $1000 to the old couple as a deposit telling them to return it if he successfully sold 30 or more meals in under an hour.
At the end, they sold out all the noodles. When asked why they are still working at this age, they said that they have a grandson to raise after his parents divorced. Their son doesn't make a lot of money so they help raise one grandson for them.
The young man was sympathetic and told them to keep the deposits. And even transferred another $999 to the old man for his early birthday present. His birthday was in 2 days.
Despite the hardships, the couple are glad to have each other. The old woman said that, by the way, she is 70 years old, can you believe it? She looks much younger. She said that her husband would cook her every meals and would give her money to spend if he has it. Perhaps this is why she aged so well. Her husband truly loved her.
