And it was also hot in the super heavyweight division!Ziyod Khakimboev, champion of Asia and Oceania, met with the main favorite - Mikhail Kashurnikov. But the power, speed and technique of the reigning champion left him no chance.
The other semi-final was not held: the injury of Egyptian Zaki Khaled put an end to it. But his coming out for the honor of the tournament and his opponent is a true example of sporting spirit.
In the final, everything was decided between Kashurnikov and Talgat Zhientaev. The Russian showed why he is rightly called the best sambo wrestler in the world.
