
Many people standing in the queue at Kamalapur complained about difficulties in accessing to railway’s website [eticket.railway.gov.bd] to purchase online tickets, which they said forced them to stay in the queue for hours.
A large number of people returned home without tickets after waiting for five to 10 hours in the ticket collection booth’s queues.
Technology experts said that low capacity to take pressure at a time had been the basic problem of railway’s online ticketing services.
