"Chemical", the second track from the "Two Worlds Collide" album, has a more "underground" #drumandbass feel, but still maintains a commercial #christianworship structure. The track explores just how far the world is "messing" with creation, as well as the beauty and complexity of love. An original composition, the track derives influence from bands and producers including @massiveattack (particularly 3D/Delge in terms of the vocal style, as well as @U2official Bono on the more melodic harmonies), @NeilDavidge, @LeftfieldMusic, @RoniSizeReprazenVEVO, and @kosheenatmoksha. Special thanks to Olivia Bradbury (Liv) for her soaring vocals and Alex "The Hill" for his killer live bass lines during the final sections of the track. The track is written to combine the gritty, melancholic textures and rhythms of the #bristolsound and #bristolmusic and other influential electronic bands of the time with a #christianworship theme.
