I see a lot of musicians and creatives who seem to think that for some reason someone else is responsible for their being able to be successful. Really sorry to break this to you, but no one is responsible for your success but you. You can blame it on others, try to dance around it, it never works.
If you want to be successful, you have to do the work yourself, not expect others to do it for you.
