Cinematic Funk virtuoso, master producer, and multi-instrumentalist Kutiman drops "So Long Stay Safe," a brilliant first single from his forthcoming instrumental mini-album, "Dreams In Aspamia," arriving in July.
The track builds upon an infectious jazzy bassline, a shuffling drum break and superb percussion, layered with mysterious keyboard lines and lush, exotic strings.
It's a deep, hypnotic downtempo journey, channeling Kutiman's signature sound with echoes of early Ninja Tune style trip-hop, the groovy textures of CTI Records, and the drama and atmosphere of classic European library music and soundtracks.
