From the debut album "The Moons Of Jupiter"
Thank you to Marco Pirroni for playing guitar on this track
Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto might harbor subsurface oceans to potentially support life... though we already live on The Moons Of Jupiter via darkwave duo Nicky Rowe (music) and James Harris (vocals)—a rocket ride into an 80s soundspace where ambient meets pop. Sharing my chat with James… 🦇 Q: I’m especially drawn to “Fire” and freeform style of guitar. Is it real or synth? A: Real and performed by Marco Pirroni. We hope he’ll perform again on our second album in the works now. 🦇 Q: Talk about your project name. A: We came up with the name years ago while writing “Ghosts” and saying we’d work together someday as a duo. That time finally arrived in early 2023. Our name represents having a universal view on life and our place within the cosmos. 🦇 Q: How did the two of you team up? A: We’ve actually known each through primary school, high school, and grew up on the same street. We were always aware of each other’s musical projects. We’re now a culmination of our previous work. We feel it’s our best work and intend to continue working together for a long time. 🦇 Q: Tell us about the new album. A: We released on CD only December 18, 2024. The digital release on Bandcamp, Spotify, and across digital platforms was just made available. 🦇 Q: What unique details can you share about its production? A: We each have our own home studios, “Phoenix Studios”. Nicky works solely on the music, I write my vocals, record and mix them within the music. We’re both perfectly in tune with no changes needed. We have much new music coming. 🦇 Remember that hearing positive feedback means absolutely everything to artists and creatives alike—so let’s please hear from YOU! 🦇🖤 Give The Moons Of Jupiter a follow, listen, and download at TheMoonsOfJupiter.bandcamp.com/album/the-moons-of-jupiter. #TheMoonsOfJupiter #Nocturnazine.
