Omar Chandler from New York, was a one-time contestant on the legendary Showtime At The Apollo TV Show in the 1980s. He was been a background singer for years, singing the vocals on 'Joy And Pain' by Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock. He released 2 albums during the 1990s, Omar Chandler in 1991, and Pieces Of My Heart in 1995. His decent singles were 'Do You Really Want It' and 'This Must Be Heaven' (a duet with Audrey Wheeler, and 'Guess Who's Back' produced by Teddy Riley. Chandler has since been performing a small venues and also released a Best Of Album in 2009.
