One day i was getting ready for school, they said Michael Jackson was on his way to Stockton, he´s coming to meet with the kids. I thought that was huge, he was already huge to me, as a young black kid. That was the biggest lesson of selflessness that i could ever imagine because he didn´t have to come. And what he did, was he met with all the kids to say, "Hey, your life matters, you´re still here".
Cus Mike was a very smart businessman. He always felt like they were out to get him. He had more power than a black man should have in a business, lets put it that way.
