Fats struggles to keep his songs in the charts. The "British-BOOM" had arrived, musical taste has finally changed. Though he had a handful of (minor) hits to go, his golden days of hitmaking were over.
"Sally Was A Good Old Girl" debuted on September 19, 1964 and reached #99 on the Billboard POP-charts, staying only 2 weeks on the charts.
