
There are two different chord progressions in this track:
First there is a progression based on a descending bass line and a II-V-I progression. Then there are two "diatonic circles of fifths" attached to each other.
The „diatonic cycle of fifths“ is a very powerful and versatile chord progression which appears in countless songs of many genres. The 4-voice chords are built using only the notes of the natural minor scale. Just the V chord is modified to be a dominant 7th chord. Several II-V-I progressions can be found in the diatonic circle - in major as well as in minor. The second diatonic cycle makes a small harmonic detour, but then closes the cycle again.
